Back on Track

After a weekend at my parent's and a week home without much exercise, I'm ready to get back to it and knock off these last few pounds! Surprisingly, I did lose a little more since my last "official" weigh in. I'm so close to my goal.

I plan to get back to the Y several times this week and get back on track with eating. Miss P was home last week sick, so our schedule was off. Oh well, these things will happen. :-)

Another five pounds?

Really? It seems like too much, although, it has been about 9 pounds in the last four weeks, which really isn't too much. Who knows. We are headed to my parent's home this weekend, so I won't weigh-in until next Tuesday, and if I gain next week, I wouldn't be surprised. This is not a "set-up" for failure, just a glimpse of the possibility. I will continue to stay on WW and continue to work out, but it has been a lot of weight loss over a short amount of time. I will be pleased as punch if I loose or maintain this next week.

In other news ... just about 11 more pounds until dance lessons with Husby, and as a reward for working out a minimum of three times the last four weeks ... new workout clothes for me!! :-) I'm super pumped.

Only 10 more pounds to go!

That's right folks!! I finally hit the thirty pounds lost club. Okay, so there is not a club, but I've been so close the last two weeks, I was glad to see it actually happen. Granted it's not much over the 30-pound mark, but I'll take any loss I get.

Only 10 pounds to my One-Year Goal and 16 pounds to dance lessons with my Husby! Woo-hoo!

I almost forgot!

In church on Sunday, they published the winners of the Biggest Loser Club for the summer. I came in second place!! (And I lost to a guy in high school.) Anyway, I was excited. I didn't "win" anything except personal satisfaction, but that works too!!

On Tuesday, I had a health screening done at work. My reward for all my hard work: higher overall cholesterol (than last year) and a ratio that is still high. GRRR! I'm guessing the family genes are at work here. What's a girl to do?
