On the upside, I lost .6 pounds. On the downside, I'm .2 pounds short of 30 pounds. I'm guessing a night at Carnival (Thursday) and too much meat, chips, pizza, cake and ice cream on Saturday was the reason for this. :-) Oh well, gotta live, too! At least I lost a little bit.
We did make it to the YMCA Monday - Friday this past week. That was great! I'm hoping to get there just as much this week, but we're not starting out well. I'm waiting for the security system service guy to get here. Husby has a meeting, so we can't leave. GRRR!
My current one-year goal is to capture our family's life in 10 pictures each month. I am starting this goal in March 2016 and will conclude it in February 2017.

29 Pounds!!!
Yep, that's the new total number of pounds lost! I admit I was not expecting much when I got on the Wii this morning. While I had had a pretty good week, yesterday and Friday night to not qualify as "good" or even "okay." I was super excited when I had reached my Wii Fit goal ... which is usually 2-4 pounds every couple of weeks, and that meant a good loss for me. The Wii is helping me keep track of BMI, which may or may not be a good indicator of anything other than weight loss! But, mine is lowering, which is good!!
When I informed Husby that in 17 pounds he was signing up for dance lessons, he tried to wiggle his way out of it. No way, buddy!!!

Oh My!
Today was not a good day! I am usually pretty good about making good choices at fast food restaurants, but did not today! I completely induldged in a cheeseburger (the grown-up kind) and fries. Then, tonight I had a big bowl of ice cream. While it was low-fat ice cream, it still was not good of me to eat that much today! A little stress eating. On the upside, I did write it all down and still have 16 weekly points left for WW. Tomorrow is a new day!

No Change
It was bound to happen. There was no loss this week, but on the upside, no gain either! :-) We have been a bit sick around here, so our eating has been a little sporadic. I'm hoping for a great week ahead.
We did join the Y ... at the reduced rate. $40 a month, and that includes child care for the kids while I work out! That is awesome!!! I also got Miss P signed up for swimming lessons.
Oh, and today, I went to a party and bought my reward for when I hit my one-year goal: A pearl bracelet! I can't wait to be able to wear it!

yea!
So, I now using our Wii to weigh-in. It's here and reliable, and weighs to the tenth, which I like. Yesterday, the official weigh-in put me at a loss of just a little more than 26 pounds! That's pretty exciting, if you ask me.
Husby is pretty thrilled for me too and has promised to take dancing (as in ballroom/couples) lessons with me when I loose 20 more pounds. Well, 14 is all I need to lose to reach my one-year goal, but the extra six would be so worth it.
In other One-Year Goal news ... I am planning to join the YMCA this week. I was planning to join on Tuesday, but rumor has it if one joins on Friday, their 90th anniversary, one gets a 20 percent discount on membership. The one glitch in this plan is that swimming lesson registration begins on Tuesday. So I have a couple of options:
1. Join on Tuesday at full rate; get discounted rate for swimming lessons.
2. Pay full rate for swimming lessons on Tuesday; join on Friday at discounted rate.
3. Wait until Friday to join and to sign up for swimming lesson, both at discounted rates (hoping Pearl can get into the class I want her in).
Any thoughts?
