I did it

I got back on the scale. It actually wasn't too bad. I am up about 2.5 pounds, which means I'm now just shy of my original goal again. No worries, starting today, we're back on WW. Snow days and weekend through off our original plans. :-)

First of the Year News

So, I haven't blogged anything lately, but here's a little something ...

As far as the One-Year Goal, I have reached my goal (plus or minus a little vacation poundage; I haven't been on the scale yet). However, I want to continue to lose weight and make healthy choices for our family. To this end, I am planning to get back on track with Weight Watchers this week. Thursday, to be exact!

Dear Husby has decided that Sundays are not good weigh-in days. As you may recall, he didn't like to weigh in at all, much less after the weekend. So, Thursdays it is. I will weigh-in on Thursday morning and begin to work off any gained weight and then work toward shedding another 40 pounds.

I also have a fitness goal: 450 miles! I plan to continue to work out about three times a week, and I am going to log my miles and work toward 450 miles. As of today: 2 miles; 448 to go!

Yea!!

I did it. I reached my goal. More later, as I have two crabby twins bugging me.

Okay. I'm back. Husby and I went back on WW ... the disciplined write down everything, be accountable WW, as opposed to the "kind of like, but not really" WW that I had been doing. The results ... a huge loss this week, which landed me at (well, actually beyond, my goal).

I have continued to work out about three times a week, and I am enjoying that. The combination this past week was a huge success! I'm super excited. To celebrate, I got out my "Lost 40 Pounds" reward: a pretty pearl bracelet. Sadly, it broke during church. Oh well. I'm going to work on getting it replaced or fixed.

Anyway, I moved my new goal at Weight Watchers to add another 15 pounds loss to my total, so that is my next goal. Of course, maintenance is also key!!

Back on Track

After a weekend at my parent's and a week home without much exercise, I'm ready to get back to it and knock off these last few pounds! Surprisingly, I did lose a little more since my last "official" weigh in. I'm so close to my goal.

I plan to get back to the Y several times this week and get back on track with eating. Miss P was home last week sick, so our schedule was off. Oh well, these things will happen. :-)

Another five pounds?

Really? It seems like too much, although, it has been about 9 pounds in the last four weeks, which really isn't too much. Who knows. We are headed to my parent's home this weekend, so I won't weigh-in until next Tuesday, and if I gain next week, I wouldn't be surprised. This is not a "set-up" for failure, just a glimpse of the possibility. I will continue to stay on WW and continue to work out, but it has been a lot of weight loss over a short amount of time. I will be pleased as punch if I loose or maintain this next week.

In other news ... just about 11 more pounds until dance lessons with Husby, and as a reward for working out a minimum of three times the last four weeks ... new workout clothes for me!! :-) I'm super pumped.

Only 10 more pounds to go!

That's right folks!! I finally hit the thirty pounds lost club. Okay, so there is not a club, but I've been so close the last two weeks, I was glad to see it actually happen. Granted it's not much over the 30-pound mark, but I'll take any loss I get.

Only 10 pounds to my One-Year Goal and 16 pounds to dance lessons with my Husby! Woo-hoo!

I almost forgot!

In church on Sunday, they published the winners of the Biggest Loser Club for the summer. I came in second place!! (And I lost to a guy in high school.) Anyway, I was excited. I didn't "win" anything except personal satisfaction, but that works too!!

On Tuesday, I had a health screening done at work. My reward for all my hard work: higher overall cholesterol (than last year) and a ratio that is still high. GRRR! I'm guessing the family genes are at work here. What's a girl to do?
